What's Trust Got to do with it?

Trusting God in all Things - How?

Bible Verse

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

For Toddlers Version:

"Trust God! He will show you the way."

Explanation

God loves us and helps us every day. Even when we don’t know what’s going to happen, we can trust that God knows and He will help us! We just need to hold His hand, like we hold our parents' hands when we cross the street.

Toddler Activity

Trust Walk: Hold your toddler's hand and lead them around the room with their eyes closed, guiding them safely. Remind them that this is how we trust God to lead us when we can’t see what’s ahead.

Prayer "Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me and helping me. I trust You to take care of me! Amen."

For Older Kids & Adults

Reflection

Life can be confusing, and we don’t always understand what’s going on. But God sees the big picture. When we trust Him, even when we don’t have all the answers, He promises to guide us in the right direction. We don’t have to worry about figuring everything out; God will lead us if we give Him our trust.

Discussion

- What is something happening right now that you don’t fully understand?

- How can we trust God more in our lives, as individuals and as a family?

Prayer

"Dear God, thank You for loving us and knowing what is best for our lives. Help us to trust You with all our hearts, even when things don’t make sense. Guide our family and help us rely on You in every situation. Amen."

Family Activity

As a family, take turns writing or drawing one thing you’re trusting God with this week. Hang these up where everyone can see them as a reminder of His guidance.

Prayers,
